Grace Quilting Frame

I bought a Grace quilting frame from The Grace Company. This is the Start Right Queen size, at a very affordable price. They are located in SLC so I saved a bundle on shipping by picking it up ourselves. It went together easy peasy, and I did a couple sample pieces, then put this old quilt top on for my first attempt at a larger quilt.

My Juki works like a dream on the frame, the frame carriage rolls smooth as can be. The set up of putting the backing, batting, and quilt top on is fairly quick and easy. The quilting is fun. I am excited. I have a few quilt tops to finish up!

There is a lot of shadow play in the photo, but here is a quilt top I finished up full of bits of the past. I love scrap quilts. They evoke memories.

Quilted Shibori

I forgot to post how the Shibori dyed cotton quilted up...

Any way, here it is.

I just quilted around the dyed areas, very free-style.
