Textile art is by nature very intimate....and when you combine that with your positive and heartfelt sentiment, the result is so deeply life-affirming. I really love what you are doing.
YOU have made a huge difference in so many lives with your beautiful , thoughtful quilts. And I know that you put love and prayer from your heart into each one.
Thank You for the difference you make in my life... xo.
Cat, I always enjoy clicking on these little masterpieces and then just devouring every detail, I made a pillow for my oldest daughters birthday but I can't post it till the 23rd. BE BLESSED:-)
To me words, mean everything in art. They are what really tell the story. Artists argue all the time over this, but without the words in my art, my piece just isn't finished somehow. I know you get me Cat..lol fondly, Nancy You, me, words, cats and the bird thing...
And your wonderful mini cq always touch me, dear Cat!
My next sewing project is already on my mind: a Christmas stocking! I can't wait to start sewing! But first of all, there's still so much to do in the garden before the winter comes.
Oh now, I can't belive it, the first snow has arrived at your mother's home! But NO NO NO, I am not at all jalous! But I must admit that she took some very nice winter pictures.....
In looking down your blog I see these mini quilts with the birds and words. You still bring a smile to my face. I made a Manzanita tree for my favorite received ATCs. Your Queen of Cats that you sent me is, of course, on the tree which stands in my kitchen. I know I don't blog or post often but I do visit quietly.
WOW....love your pieces. Love the detail and care put into them. Impressed!

The thing I love about blogging is it gives you access to potentially otherwise hidden talent. This is beautiful.
