Portland Rose Gardens

The five cousins
I think it had been about 12 years since the five cousins were all together. Three are my brothers boys and two are mine. They range in age from 19 to 29. If opposite can go in 5 directions... they each have a position. One of them got married and we went to visit and to the wedding. It was a whirlwind trip, yet we did fit in some great sight-seeing... to the Rose Garden, and to the dense forest, and of course to the world famous Voodoo Doughnuts.

Hi Cat hahahah they are soaps!!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Cat, you got awfully close! Wasn't that heat something? We're back to "normal" now, thankfully. It's so fun to get cousins together and especially nice for a festive occasion like a wedding. Next time, keep on heading north.....
ReplyDeleteWe just spent 10 minutes looking at Voo Doo doughnut photos. My son has been there while on tour in Oregon. The maple bacon one looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteTrying to catch up on some blog reading, I have not posted in awhile and probably won't until we get this surgery behind us. I had an aunt that lived in Portland, she loved it there, sorry I didn't get a chance to visit her there.Cute pic of the pups, I can see how it would be hard to get a good pic of all three at once.
ReplyDeleteBE BLESSED
I love our dry heat...My sister came here and could not believe how hot it was and she was dry. Welcome home, everyone looks so happy, beautiful Roses.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Mary
Hi Cat! What a bunch of cuties!! I have two boys also, 22 and 24...
ReplyDeleteThose roses are sooo beautiful, that forest looks enchanted...and that's one funny looking doughnut! Did you stick him with a fork before you ate him up? (giggle!)
Thanks for visiting! Hugs, Paulette :o)
Hello Cat, I used to live in Salem and so these photo brought back great memories of my time in Oregon. Lovely photo of all the cousins. Hugs Judy

Looks like a lot of fun! I went to that rose garden 13 years ago! I can't believe it's been that long. Great pictures!

ReplyDeleteAh Voodoo donut, a delectable sin everytime. I love the bacon maple bars, it's like pancakes and bacon all in one! BUT the BEST is their Mango Tango donunts, SERIOUSLY! Oh, crud... now I have to make a trip up to ptown myself... ;)
