Here is progress on the UGLY quilt that I started the first of the year. It used up old old scraps. The quilt top is complete now... and waiting to be sandwiched and stitched.
I haven't started a quilt yet, but there is a reason, I am looking for my fabric upstairs in boxes, have yet to find them. I hope no one decided to throw them away...Yikes! I love how this is turning out, it is not ugly at all, no quilt is. I love them all. I will let you know when I find my boxes. Happy quilting, Mary
That's not ugly! You saw just a bit of my yarn, but there were boxes of fabric in that room too...not to mention the CQ and x-stitch stuff. Busy through 2010 and on, I think!
Hi! This beautiful-never-for-a-moment-Ugly quilt might need a new name, Cathy!! heehee You are such a talented quilter, that I am constantly in awe...I am still seeking that sewing machine, but may have found it!! Love, Kathy
I think that the quilt is quite unique.....hows little annie doing...I'm going to have to put my maxie down before long, and I just keep putting it off...it's so sad he was a stray that came to stay about 14 years ago....I have run down to your other posts and they are lovely....have a good day, judy
I don't have to start an ugly quilt. I have lots of them! What do I do with my ugly quilts? Give them to my family, they love them. Also give to charity when we have a national disaster.
Nothing ugly about this.....HAHAHAHA I will have to manage the courage and take a photo of an ugly one for you!! Scrappy quilts tend to make us feel this way or at least they do me cause I feel like I do not have a rhythm down or a pattern in creating them.....but this really is pretty Cat!
