The Pergola is finished!

We started this Pergola in June, and finally put the last brush of paint on it today.
The plant on this corner is the Wisteria; it is already aggressively reaching the top. There is Clematis on the other corner, and 3 climbing roses on the other side.
Grow grow grow...

  2. This is really special and I love Wisteria....summer is flying by. Arney and I were sitting out on the patio tonight talking about how beautiful it felt today. Then Trevor and his family came over to do a little garden harvesting...peppers,tomato's, and anything else they could find. Also some of my apricot Jam...it's wonderful to give fresh food to family and friends.

So special to know you, Mary

  3. Great choices for climbers! I be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. Your pergola looks wonderful, and so does the blue sky!

I tried to comment earlier below...and would vote for the new shape and then applique it on something, maybe a tote. Can't tell its size though....

  5. Great job on the pergola !! It looks amazing. We added one to our deck two years ago and LOVE it. It provides shade and truely feels like an extra room of the house. Sit out with your morning coffee and paper...ahhh life is good !!
