Did I mention I like weekends?

I do. I work weekdays and have weekends off to catch up on everything, including stitching.

The last 2 blocks are finished now with backs and borders. I contemplated folding them into envelope purses but couldn't bear to fold up the designs...

A nice Saturday morning is up early... drinking coffee... and dreaming up a new idea to start stitching on.

I have a small stack of these primitive 9-patch blocks and figured they make great starting bases. The pink one got a bird this morning. I think I will attempt a wreath of leaves and birds...
Have a happy relaxing weekend!

  6. I love all your colors, and of course the stitching is fab! You have given me an idea for Christmas. I might make a few blocks as gifts. They won't be as good as yours. I will think about this.
    Happy weekends! Mary
