The Healing Garden Quilt

I named this quilt "The Healing Garden".
It is for a young woman (19yrs) who is going thru radiation treatment daily for cancer. I work with her mom.

She is a bright and vibrant girl and I wanted the quilt to reflect that.
The quilt also has 16 positive affirmation words stitched onto some plain pink and green blocks. Faith, hope, love, heal, grace, pray, etc...

Prayers and hope for Kiera!

  10. Oh Cat that brings tears to my eyes....it is so beautiful, and I'm sure Kiera will love it...the tears come because it brings back a memory of my Alison (my granddaughter) who was 17 when she passed away with cancer...but there was no cure for hers...so I pray Kiera has one that can be cured...the healing quilt is perfect for her... prayers for Kiera.... judy

I know the feeling when one is undergoing radiation and chemo...an insprational healing blanket means a whole lot!
    I adore your kind heart.
You were there for me too..each time I recieved my chemo..your "affirmation healing square" was next to my heart tucked into my bra.It gave me courage to endure what ever came at me during that dark scarey time.

love and light to you my friend Anna xoxo
