My sweetie returned today from a week fishing in AK with his brothers. Yahoo happy day. He had a great time, caught LOTS of Halibut and is home now! Here is a picture of him (in the brown) and his brothers…

And... to the girlie stuff... My holly-hocks have all been pinks - white, light pink and darker pink. Look what came up this year! Isn't it a beauty - dark dark burgundy!

What a gorgeous Holly-Hock. My one attempt to grow them here in Australia was totally failure and so disappointing after seeing them grow wild in English hedges.

Your garden is looking great...I always love hollyhocks and the bees they attract whereas my husband thinks they look like weeds....
