I am working on a "Hugs and Kisses" quilt for my grandson. Seems appropriate. Here is what I worked up for a pattern. It is basically 5 1/2 inch squares with 3 inch square corners sewn on two of the corners. I bet you can click and enlarge the picture of the pattern.
Using a bright variety of batiks for the "X" and "O"s, and off white text and numbers for the background (corners). I'll post a picture of the top when done.
Feel free to use the pattern, and let me know if you make one! It can be sized to any size quilt and would make a sweet baby quilt with a grid of four blocks by four blocks.
Hey it's the weekend!!!

Awesome. I can't WAIT to see your grandson's, in color! Have a fun weekend, Cat. Hugs, kath
Cute! Also makes me think of tic tac toe.
Hi Cat! Crazy! My sew group just made this quilt for a dear baby girl that is coming in January! We all used Heather Ross fabrics and white as our background! When it is revealed at the shower I can take a pix and share it! Great minds think alike! It's a really fun quilt to make I think! Hugs, Pam
