Check out these 3 tapestry bags that my Mom made! They are tote bag style. They remind me of the carpetbags in the era after the Civil war. We listed them on etsy. 
The bag with birds is a tote style as well, Mom took my birdie panel and made it into a canvas bag.The second one is my design of a "Bucket Bag", shaped like a bucket.
