I'm still working on it... Step 3. I ironed paper backed fusable web onto some backing fabric, removed the paper, placed the felt backed picture squares and ironed down. Then cut and trimed the squares.
Step 4. Blanket stitched around the squares. Iron flat. I am using Cotton Pearl #8 but you can use anything that works for you. 
All so far... I still have a few squares to go around... and shake out the finger cramps from holding such a small piece. A couple of the pictures don't have a lot of contrast to them and I'm giving them a bit of a boost with a light brown or gray colored pencil.Hopefully I'll have some time during the week to do more on this!
