Let Me Out

I was visited by a butterfly, who softly kissed my cheek, and told me not to worry; that the cocoon was not my permanent home.

Pets

As a shy child, my pets were my best friends. Dogs, cats, salamanders, whatever it was; I could sit and find comfort in it's company. I've recently made 4 crazy quilt collages with precious pictures of children and their pets, this is the 4th one. It will be shown for sale on the new Glitter and Grunge website opening in May.

I wanna ride

When the air warms up and the ribbon of pavement lies ahead...and the Harley rumbles "let's ride"...I can't stay home and crazy quilt. So off we rode today on what I called our "Tulip Ride", because we rode past sooo many beautiful bloomin' tulips! Maybe the Lord will send rain tomorrow, then I will stay home and embroider tulips.

The Snowbird

Right off the needle and ready to hit the auction block! (Ebay Link under profile) This piece was inspired by my Mom, who sent me the bird picture and the peom lyric, "The Snowbird sings the song he always sings, and speaks to me of flowers that will bloom again in Spring." (Gene MacLella)
Spring brings freshness and color and celebrates new beginnings.
