Moab





We are back wishing we could do laundry and leave again. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful red rocks.

One picture is at Dead Horse Point; the area carries a sad story of wild horses being rounded up on the point (in the 1800's) and left to die of thirst with the view of the river below.

The other 3 pictures are taken in Arches National Monument, Delicate Arch stands atop the massive wall of rock (click on the picture to enlarge.) More tall rock monuments in next picture and our group of four bikers in the last picture.

JOY said... So happy to see the pictures from your trip. It is an absolutly beautiful area and full of inspiration. Also, Blue is sooo darling. I can certainly see why you understood my sadness when Boomer had to be put to sleep - he's waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. Hope you get to make another bike trip soon. Regards, Joy

Isn't the Moab area wonderful. I had a great time when I was there. Your CQ projects are wonderful..
