Back to the Birds

We went back and painted the protective finish on the logs this weekend. I came home with more bird pictures to share. Here is one of the robin nest with the babies growing speckled and adorable.

Sweet hummingbirds...

The hummingbirds in the wee morning hours.

At times the hummingbird feeder would be swarmed with at least a dozen birds trying to get to the food. They are getting fattened up for their migration.

All for now!

Oh my,,you got those little hummers too? I have to fill my feeders up every day,,sometimes twice if its really hot. These are little feeders that I put in my flower boxes,,they love those the best. Aren't they the most vicious little things? Mine fight like crazy!! I also had some baby blue birds this summer too. I just love birds,,actually I just love nature! Thanks for the great pics Cat!

The baby Robins have left the nest.
The mornings are getting cooler. Soon we will all be going south, birds and "Snowbirds". Many thanks to Cat and family, My house has a new coat to protect it from the harsh Wyo. winter soon to be here.

Great pictures. The little baby birds are sweet looking. Those hummers can be so mean to each other sometimes, if one takes a notion to drive the others away.

Is the robin nest in your eaves?
