Penny Rug Tree

Christmas in July! It's 100 degrees today and here is a Christmas tree. The inside pennies are penny size and the outter ones are about a quarter size. I sewed a charm or button or beads to each one.
Now... back to painting the deck railing.

That's really lovely Cat, funny both you and Margaret are making fabric trees today, must be something in the air despite an ocean between you.

It was a 100 here today, I am living under the air-conditioner.
I Love your Penny Tree, Christmas....no, no lets not think of it yet. As hot as it is, I am not ready for winter season.
You know how cold it gets.
Thank You for coming by, Hugs, Mary

Love how you put a little penny gift in the center of each.

Stay inside where the air is on and make us more wonderful art to see !!!

Ohhhh, this is wonderful! I like artwork like this...it's very homey and welcoming. It may be for Christmas but I think it would look great displayed before then. The colours remind me of Fall, too. Leaves turning red and gold, woolen blankets being thrown over the bed, the search for the perfect pumpkin...
