"Penny" necklaces...

This is the Russian Olive tree way out back - the olives intrigue me.
Annie is doing fab. She is healthy and heartworm free!
Not to mention getting pretty fluffy again...
we will let her hair grow now until Spring.

Haven't stitched much this week.
Did make a couple necklaces out of felt and cotton "pennies".

Happy Weekend!

Glad to see Annie back to her old self! Those crazy Russian olives even grew in Wisconsin...they must be tough. Those necklaces are very nice, Cat.

G'day Cat
I'm just so thrilled to see Anne is doing so well - she is made of good stuff... love your necklaces ... great colours too. I've not heard of a Russian olive tree although they no doubt grow here Down Under really didn't think about names other than olive. Many hobby farmers have gone into growing olives in Qld. so we see lots of little groves of them on our way to visit with our eldest daughter...
A bit like I had never heard of your penny necklaces etc but the other day I found someone had made a pumpkin from them ... luv ... Bethel

Along with your beautiful hand work...the olive are really great under that blue sky.
Annie is a little champion, so good to see her well. I have two Beagles and it is really hard when they aren't doing well.
Take care, Mary

The necklace is darling. What a clever idea!

Annie is looking great. How is she taking to the cold? We are hitting below freezing temps here and it's a tough adjustment. LOL.

Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving.

There's THE BABY !

ohhh. Hi Annie ( I am getting all goo goo over her)

So glad she is doing well. Hair all wild and long !

The olives make a pretty picture. Now can you harvest them ? Are they a harvestable (is that a word?) or rather edible type of olive ?

Olive Branch. PEACE. Good Quilt Inspiration.
