Invisible Children

The Invisible Children are children abducted in war inflicted areas in Africa, they are given guns and taught to fight. The current situation is hot.

My 23 year old (birthday today) son has a heart for these children.

He is going to attend a "rescue" gathering in SLC next weekend and needed a tote bag to take, we are in the process of making that...

At the "rescue" they will write letters to govenment officials to encourage more involvement to stop the war and save these children.

...And I leave you with... two tired sweeties that finally stoped running long enough for a picture.

They are cuddling together with a puppy comfort doll! (A gift from Auntie Sandy)

Interesting post, Cat. My younger daughter has been to Africa for work 3 times, and our church supports efforts in Rwanda. More power to your son and friends. BTW, your youngest doggies sure are cute!

Cat, I recently saw a young African man on TV - maybe GMA?. He has written a book and for the life of me I can't remember his name. He and two friends left one day to go to the next town and in that short amount of time they leanred that their village and families had been killed. I think he was forced to fight but not sure.

Anyway, more power to folks who actually do something to help this and other important causes!

Precious pups, btw :)
