I love this, Cat - really beautiful. I can't imagine how much you miss your son...well, maybe a little. My daughter lives and teaches in Canada and I do miss her a lot.

This is a really good idea...I wish that I had done this when Cory was in the army. He spent 4 years in Alaska and then in Texas training for Irah( not sure of spelling). A total of 5 years and then home for college. He met his wife to be and now they have 4 children. This will be good for you to do, and in away it will be his story from a Mothers point of view. Thanks! Yes, I started a journal when Levi left. I've never art journaled much before... but it's a good outlet for my missing him.
