Comfort Quilt

Healing quilts - Comfort quilts

What better quilt to make while I'm recovering from surgery!
I had my right kidney removed a week ago, the first few days post-op were a wee bit painful, but now I'm feeling really good - considering!
Just finished a quilt top with 30 positive affirmation words stitched on.
I would like to make 3 of these. One to sell and two to donate to the woman's shelter.  Wouldn't the positive words be encouraging and comforting!
So... I have 2 more tops to make... and get some backs and batts...

Cat,
Can't believe you had surgery! I hope the recovery is uneventful. I was waiting until school was out to send you a note. Glad I checked your blog today. The quilt is beautiful. You are way too kind to think of me on your trip to Florida. Proper e-mail soon.
Love,
Deb
