The Snowbird

Right off the needle and ready to hit the auction block! (Ebay Link under profile) This piece was inspired by my Mom, who sent me the bird picture and the peom lyric, "The Snowbird sings the song he always sings, and speaks to me of flowers that will bloom again in Spring." (Gene MacLella)
Spring brings freshness and color and celebrates new beginnings.

Another stunning Bird Quilt !

and is that a ribbon flower from Heather's gifts I see there ?

When you click on the picture and see it full sized it is really incredible.

Such detailed work and such a lovely, perfect poem.

You are all soooo sweet! Thank you! And yes indeed a grandma and lovin it.

My hubby and I both ride; our bikes are our main transportation thru the summer. It gets me to work with a smile on my face, and brings me home with a smile on my face!

Hi Cathy, it is even more beautiful when you see it in person! So happy to call it mine . . . Keep these crazy quilts coming for all to enjoy. This is about the eighteenth c/q I've purchased and I can't seem to stop! Regards, Joy
