Mixing Motorcycles and Crazy Quilts

Two of my passions are motorcycles and crazy quilts. They usually stay in their own compartments of my life; I usually do not take crazy quilt projects on motorcycle trips. But occasionally I do mix them up on the textile side. Pictured here is a wall hanging I made about 8 years ago to display the collectible pins from motorcycle rallies and rides. The background crazy quilt was made from wool fabrics to represent the passing scenery, and the road was made from bias tape.

This holds keys to 10 years of memory.
