Under the Sea

If only... I didn't have to go back to work Monday... I would have so much more fun creating. It has been great having a couple extra days off after camping. Today I took a piece of turquoise dyed canvas and added sea urchins and plants in tie-dyed fabrics, and stitched away. Hey it looks like someone dropped their martini olive off the boat. I dyed the turquoise piece and the brownish piece myself but used bought tie-dyes for the rest. And, yes, being around water sparked the inspiration.

Hi Cat! I think this is just stunning!!! Your design is sooo cool, and I just love your dyed fabrics, always have. It would be so beautiful framed. That turquoise color is perfect! Well...you've still got one more day to stitch up another wonderful piece! Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Paulette :o)

Very nice, Cat. So creative. I love the seaweed. And better to drop the olive than the martini! LOL.
