Healing quilt in purples and gray

Finished up a healing quilt for a friend.
Backed with that number script fabric from Ikea, and a bit of purple.
Quilting has slowed down. Work is busy, and summer is on the way. I was able to get outside and spring up the compost pile - it's about 2 1/2 months to garden planting.  Also went on my first motorcycle ride of 2014 today. Bring on the sunshine!

Pretty colors in that healing quilt, Cat, and I love the back too. Riding and gardening...sounds like spring where you are! Tonight is supposed to be our coldest night so far...hmmmmmm. I can't get rid of winter! Xo kath
PS i posted a photo of Andi and me if you want to look!

Gorgeous quilt, both sides. It should cheer up your friend immensely! Nice to have the chance to get some of those routine garden chores done, isn't it?

I'm making my first healing quilt with words. I have just one quilt in the way of getting back to it. The oldest son of a friend of mine was killed in a car accident about a week after he went into remission from cancer. I'm using a jelly roll. Wish me luck.
