String Quilt with Verse

This quilt blends in with the natural colors of a dreary spring day with just a hint of blue on the horizon... or is that gray...
Here is a close up of it hanging over the window of the old rusty 1940 Coupe.

And next...
is the beginnings of
"Sunlight on the Water"

Have a Happy Weekend.

This is my favorite quilt you've made so far. You've even used some of the same fabric I used for the portrait quilt for my granddaughter!

Hi Sweetie! Your new quilt is just beautiful...you're like the Energizer Bunny!!! It takes me forever to make a little pin, and here you are creating huge, gorgeous quilts at such an alarming speed! I'm so impressed with all you do! Your quilt goes so perfectly with the setting in the photo! Happy Sunday stitching!

Cat.............thanks for your note, but you are the blessing.....getting us all hooked up with Debbie! She started a blog today and there is a link to it on my blog....if you didn't already know:) She wants pictures of people working on the items they are sending so that she can post them for the helpers in Haiti to see! Really good idea I think:D

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I got the package. I think it will go to my son's girlfriend. They both go to a Christian college in Orange County. She graduates in May. Sunlight on the Water looks like you will get a big impact with a pretty easy block. I bet you will jazz it up!

Cat your quilts are just beautiful! The colors surely capture the colors in Nature!Perhaps the one with sun will bring forth the bright sunshine that we are finally enjoying here in my world. Loved the pic of all the four legged babies resting after their play!

Hi There!!! Gosh, long time no visit. Love the quilt. Did you do the free motion quilting? If you did, please send me an email explaining how.

I also thought the thank you was very cool. I can't believe how many blogs I've seen with your post or a link back to it. That was such a cool thing to do.

And me (head hung in shame), I didn't get my bags done. BUT....I did make another donation.

And finally, how is the studio/work room coming along? That is going to be such a great space. Don't forget to post some photos of the progress.

Hugs to DH and your furbabies!!!!
