Do you have those 3am worry wake-ups? The peace robbers come and tell you things to worry about and hound you to toss and turn and loose sleep. Those nights inspired this collage.
"The peace robbers come at night
To try and stir my sleep,
But they're chased away,
To my delight,
By angels watching me."

Blogger is back !?
Hey , I enlarged this beautiful piece and kept it up on my computer all morning just marvelling at the tiny stitches (you know I love the cross stitches) and the angeles bowed over the light.....
I love the Peace Robber Story.
I sense deep beauty here as with you.

The peace robbers came to me last night about 3a.m. so I decided to come into your site then blogger was under
tech. repairs so I could not comment!! I am back to say your creations are breathtaking! I find you a very talented soulful lady who loves her harley! Enjoyed your group pic of the riders!! :) Now you can't be bombing around making noise in my "enchanted forest!" shhhhhh!
Your work is lovely. Are they postcards you are making?
I love how you incorporate a verse into each piece. Every piece is a story in its own right.
I'll be back....
This piece really speaks to me today. My mother is recovering from cancer and is still very ill; part of her problem is anxiety attacks which keep her from sleeping. This is such a beautiful work, as all your work is. I just love it. I wish I could convince Mother that the angels would chase her fears away. Thank you for posting this. Glynda
angels watching over me! The two on your piece of art, as hands coming togehter in prayer, are full of grace and peace!
You do wonderful work. I really love all the details in each piece. What size are these?
:) Almost all my pieces are 5 X 7, they work well to put on an 8 x 10 matte and framed.
Ive made ATC sizes, but prefer more room to have fun with. I've not tried making a fabric postcard yet. THANKS!
Cathy from Joy - I love this crazy quilt. It is sooo much like the one you sent to me. It was the most wonderful suprise. It is the last thing I look at before I turn off the light at night. It is in frame on my night stand. Thanks again for your super kindness. Keep thinking your good thoughts and transfering them to your quilts. Will you be making Christmas cards. The one you sent me with some of the Christmas c/q's I purchased was smaller and just great. Until later, Joy
