Progression of a Crazy Quilt Block

Find a great centerpiece picture, print it on fabric.

Choose the fabrics to go around it.

Sew the fabrics around the picture & press.

Add some lace, and embroider.

This was made for a friend's parent's anniversary. (I removed the names.)

It is 8" X 10" and ended up in a frame.

Oh Cat, how wonderful and I am sure your friend (or your friend's parents) will be more than happy to receive this frame!

I am thinking of doing a little quilt with some old pictures of my grandmother, too (when autum comes, at the latest).

Best wishes and happy sewing... from rainy Germany!
